Srivatsa Kasagar — Enterprise AI & Automation Specialist
25+ years transforming financial services and enterprise operations through AI-driven automation, agentic architectures, and compliance-grade software. From Toronto to San Juan — shipping tools that actually get used.
Caseonix is where I build tools I wish existed. After two decades inside largest financial institutions — Oriental Bank, CIBC, Canadian Tire, MunichRe and Barclays PLC — I kept running into the same gap: teams drowning in compliance overhead, manual processes that shouldn't exist, and AI demos that never made it to production.
So I started building. Not proof-of-concepts — production-ready tools with real regulatory grounding, proper audit trails, and no unnecessary complexity. The Canadian market is underserved by AI tooling that actually understands its tax codes, privacy laws, and banking constraints.
When I’m not leading architecture / DevOps at Oriental Bank, I’m in the shop at Caseonix. I build these tools to stay at the cutting edge of AI and automation, transforming 25+ years of institutional knowledge into lean, practical solutions—from compliance plugins and agentic platforms to AI-powered financial advisors.
The architecture outlasts the technology. Before writing a line of code or choosing a platform, I map the system — data flows, failure modes, compliance boundaries. The right structure makes every tool choice reversible. The wrong one makes them all permanent.
Regulatory requirements aren't constraints to work around — they're specifications to build to. Teams that treat compliance as an afterthought rebuild twice. I've worked under FINTRAC, OSFI, CRA, and PIPEDA long enough to know that building compliance-first saves months of rework and builds trust with the business.
The best AI integration disappears into the workflow. If your team has to relearn how they think to use the tool, the tool has failed. I measure success by how quietly the system operates — not how impressively it demos. Reducing back-office load by 35% means nothing caught on fire.
Open-source tools, commercial plugins, and reference architectures — all production-ready. Click any card for details.
